Ingredients
- 1.5lbs of boneless skinless chicken breast
- 2 tbsp Bailan Hot African Chicken Spice
- 1/2 medium onions
- 1 can of low sodium tomatoes
- 1/2 cups of water
- 1 tbsp of vegetable oil
- Salt to taste
How to
- Put chicken, Bailan Hot African Chicken Spice, salt, and water in a pot and cook till the chicken is cooked through
- When the chicken is ready, take out of broth and shred with two forks
- **Tip: Cook the tomatoes while the chicken is cooking to save time.
- Chop onions and saute in oil for 3mins
- Add tomatoes and cook on medium heat till it’s juices dry up and it begins to fry in the oil
- Pour chicken broth into the tomatoes and add the shredded chicken
- Let it simmer for 5minutes on low-medium heat
- Once done, serve hot and enjoy with potatoes
